District 23 has the talent, work ethic, and natural resources to become one of North Carolina's strongest economic regions. Our communities should not have to choose between preserving our rural heritage and creating new economic opportunities—we can do both.

As an Accounts Payable Business Analyst with nearly a decade of experience in finance, business operations, and technology implementation, I have worked with organizations to improve financial performance, streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. My career has taught me that smart investments, responsible budgeting, and strategic planning create long-term economic growth.

I have also worked alongside small businesses, giving me firsthand insight into the challenges entrepreneurs face—from rising operating costs and workforce shortages to excessive regulations and limited access to capital. Small businesses are the backbone of District 23, and they deserve a state government that is a partner in their success, not another obstacle.

In 2020, I advocated for expanding high-speed internet access in Caswell County because I recognized that broadband is no longer a luxury—it is essential infrastructure.

I will advocate for:

• Protecting family farms and preserving agricultural land.

• Improving rural transportation infrastructure that supports farmers and manufacturers.

I will work to:

• Support local festivals, historic downtowns, and cultural attractions. 
• Encourage tourism investments that create jobs while preserving our communities. 
• Help small businesses benefit from increased visitor traffic. 

Economic development depends on modern infrastructure.

I will support:

Throughout my career, I have managed complex financial processes, analyzed budgets, improved operational efficiency, and helped organizations make better financial decisions. Those experiences have shown me that economic growth does not happen by accident—it requires strategic planning, accountability, and responsible stewardship of resources.

The 2026 North Carolina Appropriations Act (Senate Bill 257) includes investments in economic development, workforce development, community colleges, transportation, broadband, and infrastructure. As your State Senator, I will work to ensure that Caswell, Person, and Orange Counties receive their fair share of these investments while advocating for policies that create sustainable, long-term economic growth for our communities.

Everyone deserves access to quality healthcare, regardless if they live in a rural Caswell, Person, or Orange County.

• Supporting rural hospitals, urgent cares, and emergency departments. 
• Expanding access to primary care and mental health services. 
• Increasing the healthcare workforce in rural communities. 
• Expanding telehealth have the necessary locations in the county health department for privacy and support.

Every child deserves access to a high-quality education that prepares them for success—whether they choose college, military service, a skilled trade, entrepreneurship, or entering the workforce. Education should equip students with the knowledge, skills, and character they need to succeed while respecting the important role parents play in their children's education.

As your State Senator, I will work to ensure these investments are used effectively, improve student outcomes, strengthen educational opportunities, and deliver measurable results for students, parents, educators, and taxpayers across District 23.

Education should prepare students not only to graduate—but to succeed in life, contribute to their communities, and help North Carolina remain one of the best states in America to live, work, and raise a family.

I will vote to:

- Secure funding and resources that directly benefit rural communities, helping them overcome challenges related to healthcare, infrastructure, education, and economic development.

- Develop policies that address the unique needs of rural areas, ensuring they receive fair representation and opportunities for growth.

I believe we must focus on protecting our environment while ensuring that our economy remains strong. I would work to support clean energy initiatives, promote sustainable farming practices, and protect our natural resources like forests and waterways. It's important to find a balance between development and environmental preservation to ensure a healthy, thriving future for everyone in the state. Education and community involvement will also be key in addressing these challenges together.

I support keeping the current restrictions on abortion, passed by the Republican Majority in the North Carolina state legislature in 2023, which limit the procedure to 12 weeks. These laws reflect a thoughtful balance between valuing life and making room for necessary exceptions. Exceptions are cases such as rape, incest, and saving the life of the mother.

We should continue to show compassion by investing in programs like WIC, daycare, and Medicare to ensure that moms have the support and resources they need to care for themselves and their children. I grew up with support from the state with WIC, and Medicare. I value these two programs because of the benefits I received living in a low-income household when I was little.
